Columbian Specialty Division FAQ

Q. How do we purchase your paper and specialty rope products?

A. Depending on whether you purchase as an O.E.M. account, a distributor, or a consumer, we can either assist you directly or give a referral to one of our many stocking distributors. Let us know exactly which products you are interested in and your location --- city, state, country, etc.


Q. How soon can you deliver from time of order?

A. We pride ourselves on meeting your schedules. Often, with several of our standard products, we can ship within one or two days after the order is received, of course it all depends on the size and complexity of the order. We certainly welcome custom requests; however they sometimes take longer to produce than standard items. Give us a call and we will provide prompt accurate estimates.


Q. How can I get price information?

A. While we do publish certain price list please give us a call to discuss you particular requirements.


Q. Do I have to stock all these products or can you provide drop shipping to my customers?

A. We can assist distributor accounts with drop shipments.


Q. Do you have a product catalog you can send?

A. Give us a call or contact our divisions by email and we will provide the literature promptly.


Q. Who should I contact for sales and price information at the different division?

Q. Are there any restrictions for sales of these products, or exportation of your products? 

A. Not to our knowledge. Our products are produced entirely in the United States and contain no hazardous materials. Of course U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) lists countries that are subject to embargoes or other special controls and we would not make shipment to those areas.




Q. Are there manuals available regarding technical information, maintenance, and inspection for the rope products produced by the Columbian Specialty Division?

A. Yes this information is available by mail or electronically.


Q. Is it possible to provide manufacturing data and/or serial numbers, etc. with the individual ropes?

A. Yes, the rope can be serialized with identification, specification, and/or production dates with both internal and external markers if required.


Q. We want a test, or compliance certificate shipped with, or sent directly to us, at the time of shipment of our order, is that possible?

A. We are pleased to provide test data and certification. Please request these when you placing your order.
